FCE: Questions Speaking Part 1

¡Hola a todos/as!


Como sabéis el Speaking del FCE consta de 4 partes, y tiene una puntuación de un 20% del total de la nota del examen. La primera parte suele ser la más fácil, consta de unas preguntas básicas, que os recomiendo que os preparéis a conciencia, y después, dependiendo de variables como el tiempo o el examinador, os pueden preguntar alguna más. Tened en cuenta que la primera parte tiene una duración aproximada de 2 minutos. 


Estas son las preguntas más frecuentes: 

  • Can you spell your surname, please?

  • What's your name and where are you from?

  • Do you study English? Why?


Otras preguntas: 

  • Do you think English is a difficult language to learn?

  • Which area of your country would you like to get to know better? 

  • What's the most interesting place that you have visited so far?

  • Could you tell me something about the area where you grew up?

  • Could you describe your family to me? 

  • Are you interested in sport? 

  • What kind of sports do people play most in your country? 

  • How much excercise do you take each week? 

  • Do you prefer to be physically active or do you prefer relaxing? 

  • How much TV do you watch in a week? 

  • Tell us about a TV program you have seen recently 

  • Do you have any favourite newspaper or magazine? 

  • Do you have any hobbies? 

  • Who do you spend your free time with? 

  • Do you like reading?

  • What sort of books do you like? 

  • Do you prefer to be outside or inside in your free time? 

  • Do you find it easy to study where you live? 

  • Do you use the Internet to learn new things? 

  • Do you prefer working on your own or with other people? 

  • What kind of work would you like to do in the future? 

  • Are you happier doing mental or physical work? 

  • Can you remember your first English lesson? 

  • What do you think were the most important things you learned at primary school? 

  • Would you prefer to work for a big or small company? 

  • Who are the most important people in your life?

  • Do you and your friends share the same ideas?

  • Tell me about your best friend 

  • Do you normally go out with family or friends? 

  • Do you like traveling? 

  • Have you ever used your English abroad? 

  • Do you like to plan your holidays carefully or you prefer to improvise? 

  • How do you prefer to travel? By plane or by train? 

  • Do you ever go to the cinema? 

  • Where do you like listening to music? 

  • Do you enjoy playing computer games? 

  • Do you enjoy shopping? 

  • How much time do you spend at home? 

  • Tell us about a day you enjoyed recently 

  • What's your favourite day of the week? 




Os recomiendo que respondáis a todas estas preguntas, que utilicéis vocabulario apropiado al nivel B2. Además, es importante utilizar conectores, algún idiom y utilizar ejemplos.
